These kiln dried 36”, hand split hickory lumber billet are a premium material choice for your next custom axe handle project. Each billet is hand split, not sawed, to guarantee straight and even grain down the length of the board. The 2 inch thick lumber makes a generous palm swell while the 3.5 inch wide billet is enough for extreme curvy handles.

All billets are guaranteed against external knots and flaws that compromise a handle. Internal, unforeseen flaws cannot be guaranteed in this natural material.
