Grade 3 practice handles will have structural flaws such as knots, cracks, flat spots or bark inclusions that do not meet the specifications for our grade 1 or 2 handles. These handles are intended to practice hanging your axes, and hone your skills before spending the money and investment in time on one of our higher grade handles. You will find these handles categorized by eye size, not by handle style. Please read below to pick the eye size that will be large enough for the axe you wish to practice on. Our grade 3 handles are not covered by any warranty given their flaws and intended purpose.
